Shalom blessed people of God! We hope that this October News Letter finds you at God’s peace. In Hannah House Family we thank the Lord for his goodness, glory, provision and daily protection.
It is an honor for us to update you on Hannah House Family situation. We praise God, Children from the orphanage are well and enjoying their life and getting quality intelligence from school. All are in good health in the name of Jesus Christ.
Rapid learning is being manifested for women in the sewing project of “MUKENYEZI HAGURUKA” (Women stand up in English). At their second month of learning, every woman can try to sew some clothes. We thank God for the evolution. By God’s grace we have received other two sewing machines.
On the occasion of the celebration of World Mental Health Day, Hannah House Family in collaboration with partner organizations organized on October 12, 2021 in Bujumbura a debate conference in order to highlight the actions of protection and reduction disorders linked to the consumption of psychoactive substances on mental health. The debate was discussed under the theme “All together, let’s fight against disorders related to the consumption of psychoactive substances.”
We thank God that we have received windows and doors for the widow’s houses. They still need some home materials.
On November 15th will take place the activity of helping indigent children of public schools with uniforms. We are still collecting those donations.
For the orphanage building, we are building a very nice common hall near the main house of Hannah House Family where children use to live. We really thank the Lord for his works and we welcome you if you need to do a workshop or other activities that need a Common Hall. This will be for free. In our plan, we do also need to start a trauma healing in our center.
Prayer Request:
- We still need beds and mattress for orphans in the new house;
- We have five women that are still waiting for receiving pigs. Cost of one pig: $ 170;
- If you want to seed in Women Project, you are welcome. Cost of one sewing machine: $ 250
- Indigent children need uniform. Cost of one uniform: $ 10
